1. INTRODUCTION

The UCYE Diaspora Youth Network (DYN) is a structured, volunteer-driven national platform established by member countries of the United Council for Youth Empowerment (UCYE). It functions under the global UCYE framework, headquartered in Delaware, United States of America. It serves as a formal mechanism to connect diaspora youth with their countries of origin to advance nation-building, sustainable development, and inclusive governance.

This handbook provides the policy foundation, governance structure, operational guidelines, code of conduct, and strategic alignment necessary for effective implementation.

2. LEGAL STATUS AND AFFILIATION

  • Each Diaspora Youth Network operates as an independent national entity under the UCYE Global Umbrella.

  • The network derives legitimacy from UCYE International authorization and recognition.

  • National autonomy shall not supersede compliance with UCYE constitution, ethics, and global strategic objectives.

  • Headquarters of UCYE International remain in Delaware, USA.

Members shall: - Respect organizational hierarchy and lawful authority - Comply with UCYE policies and host/home country laws - Uphold professional conduct at all times

Disciplinary measures include: - Written warnings - Suspension - Removal from leadership or membership

 

9.2 Patriotism

Members shall: - Act as ambassadors of their country - Promote unity, peace, and national interest - Avoid actions that undermine sovereignty or stability
